In
looking for ways to help our members
especially during these economic times we’re
now offering a “consignment” page.
The way this will work is you (the member)
will write a brief description and attach a
digital picture of the item you wish to
sell. We will then post it on the
website.
Email your description
and item photo (preferably sized to 8 x 10
at 72 dpi) to
rmthba@earthlink.net
The
potential buyer will deal directly with the
seller. This will eliminate any possible
communication problems. You the seller will
set your price for the item, it is up to you
whether you “deal” down on the price or not.
The cost split on this is 70/30 –
meaning once you have a buyer for your item,
the buyer will then make payment to the HBA
and the HBA will then cut you a check for
your sale which will be 70% of your selling
price. For example if you are selling an 8
ft ladder for $75, you will net $52.50 and
the HBA keeps $22.50 (30%).
